By using Skim ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What Skim Does

Skim extracts recipe content from web pages you provide. We use automated tools to parse and structure recipe data. Results may not always be perfectly accurate — always use your own judgment when cooking.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

Use the app for personal, non-commercial recipe extraction
Not abuse the service with automated or bulk requests
Not attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the app

3. Free Tier & Skim Pro

Skim offers a free tier with limited extractions per month. Skim Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks unlimited extractions and additional features.

Pricing: Skim Pro is available as a monthly ($2.99/month) or annual ($24.99/year) subscription.
Billing: Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancellation: You can cancel anytime through your device's subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are provided.
Free trial: If offered, the unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. Intellectual Property

Recipe content extracted by Skim belongs to the original authors and websites. Skim is a tool for personal convenience and does not claim ownership of any recipe content. You are responsible for respecting the copyright of recipe authors.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Skim is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that recipe extraction will be accurate, complete, or uninterrupted. Nutritional information, cook times, and other data are extracted automatically and may contain errors.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skim and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
